The Minority and Women-Owned Business Investment Fund (the “MWBE Fund") was created to support innovation, job creation, and high-growth entrepreneurship throughout New York State ("NYS”) by investing in early-stage “NYS” certified Minority and/or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“MWBEs”) in emerging technologies with a proprietary or differentiated product or service.

The MWBE Fund invested in six seed-stage certified minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs).  Excell Partners was competitively selected to manage the MWBE Investment Fund. 

The fund has been fully deployed and is no longer making new investments.
