After a change in project developers and evolving community needs since the project plan’s creation, Empire State Development (ESD), is undertaking a community engagement process to solicit public input on the future development of the remaining unbuilt sites (Phase II).

Empire State Development (ESD) has hosted four (4) public workshops, spanning from fall 2025 through spring 2026, as well as an online survey that gathered ideas and feedback on different elements of the project, including housing affordability, height and density, parks and open space, and more. Feedback received during this engagement process has been collected and published in a Community Engagement Report. This report is being used by ESD and the development team to shape the project plan.
